By default Living Cookbook prompts you to backup your data every 5 times you run the program. If, for some reason, you chose not to create a backup file or if you have misplaced your backup files, there is still a way to recover your data if you have a copy of Living Cookbook's data files. For example, if you didn't create any backup files but you did backup your entire hard drive to a DVD drive (or Google drive, DropBox, etc.) you can recover your data as follows:
- Download and install Living Cookbook 2015 from http://www.radiumdownloads.com/downloads/livingcookbook/v5.0/lcsetup50.exe.
- Once Living Cookbook is installed, don't run it yet. Locate the ProgramData\Radium Technologies\Living Cookbook\5.0 folder in your backup data (on your DVD drive, Google drive, etc.). Copy the contents of this folder to C:\ProgramData\Radium Technologies\Living Cookbook\5.0 folder on your C: drive.
- Run Living Cookbook 2015.
All of your recipes, ingredients, etc. in your backup files should now be in Living Cookbook.
