This error has been fixed in v5.0.89. The new version can be downloaded from http://www.radiumdownloads.com/downloads/livingcookbook/v5.0/lcsetup50-89.exe

Once you have installed the new version on all of the computers you want to synchronize, please try the following on your first computer:
  1. Run Living Cookbook.
  2. On the Tools menu, select Options.
  3. Under Database Maintenance, select Repair Database.
  4. Click Check for Errors (on the right).
  5. Click OK to close the Application Options window.
  6. On the Connect menu, select Connect to LivingCookbook.com.
  7. On the Connect menu, select Connection Settings.
  8. On the Advanced tab, click Reset All Account Data. This will delete your data from the server so that you can start the synchronization process from scratch. If the process times out just click Reset All Account Data a second time.
  9. Click OK to close the Edit Connection Settings window.
  10. On the Connect menu, select Synchronize Content to start the synchronization process.
Once synchronization has completed on the first computer, please try the following on your other computers:
  1. Run Living Cookbook.
  2. On the File menu, select Backup.
  3. Enter a name (e.g. "LivingCookbookBackkup.lcb") and choose a location (e.g. "My Documents") for your backup file and click Save.
  4. Click Start Backup.
  5. When the backup process completes click Close to close the Backup window.
  6. On the File menu, select Restore.
  7. Select the backup file you just created and click Open.
  8. Click Start Restore. Restoring a backup file resets the computer's synchronization state so we are ready to start synchronization again.
  9. Click Close to close the Restore window.
  10. On the Tools menu, select Options.
  11. Under Database Maintenance, select Repair Database.
  12. Click Check for Errors (on the right).
  13. Click OK to close the Application Options window.
  14. On the Connect menu, select Connect to LivingCookbook.com.
  15. On the Connect menu, select Synchronize Content to start the synchronization process.
  16. If you see a message stating that another user has reset your account and asking you if you would like to replace your local data with the online data, choose No.
  17. If the Synchronization Options window appears, select Replace the local data with the online data if you want your local data to be an exact copy of what is on the server. Choose one of the merge options if you want your local data to be merged with the online data.
